1967 Corvette L71 427/435 HP

This 1967 Corvette has received the following NCRS Top Flight awards 2018 Arizona Regional score of 97.5 and 2018 National Las Vegas score of 99.0 Documented with the original window sticker, tank sticker and Protect-O-Plate, this stunning 1967 Chevrolet 427/435 HP Corvette Coupe Showing an odometer reading of just 35,440 original miles, it is the only known 1967 Corvette Coupe to combine its original matching-numbers L71 427/435 HP big-block V-8 with Ermine White paint, a black Stinger, Saddle leather interior, factory side exhaust and radio delete. Immaculate and superbly detailed throughout, it was the recipient of a well-documented, painstaking body-off restoration to better-than-new condition with excellent fit and finish. Every aspect of this L71 coupe is correct and by the numbers, but the body lines, door and panel gaps, panel straightness and lacquer paint finish all far exceed factory-original standards. The original Saddle leather interior is virtually flawless. A crucial component of this rare Sting Ray coupe is its L71 Tri-Power engine, which is documented as being original to the car by its CCAS/Al Grenning affirmation. The Muncie M21 close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission and 3.70:1 Positraction differential are original to the car as well. Indeed, almost every component of the car from bumper to bumper is factory original, the exceptions being its new Ermine White paint and correct replacement hoses, belts, battery and the Firestone blackwall tires fitted to the original Rally wheels. Sold new at Karr Chevrolet in Clendenin, West Virginia, this car was ordered from the factory with very desirable side exhaust, Soft Ray-tinted glass, a telescopic steering column and transistorized ignition. Provenance helps set cars like this 435 HP coupe apart from the rest, and this car has enjoyed one owner and two subsequent caretakers (both dealers who kept the car in their private collections) since new, and it is still titled in the original owner’s name.

Documented with the original title, window sticker, Protect-O-Plate, tank sticker and restoration albums, this marvelous Corvette’s unique mix of paperwork, NCRS Awards, options and equipment makes this offering a scarce opportunity.
